With a heavy heart, we are sharing the sudden passing news of a Table Tennis Player named Vishwa Deenadayalan.
After hearing about his sudden passing news the entire sports community was in big grief. As per the report, Deenadayalan who was just 18-years-old lost his life in a road accident. The late tennis player hailed from Tamil Nadu, and lost his life while traveling from Guwahati to Shillong by taxi on Sunday, 17th April 2022, the Table Tennis Federation of India (TTFI) stated in a released statement.

The late tennis player was traveling with 3 teammates from Guwahati to Shillong for the 83rd Senior National and Inter-State Table Tennis Championships, which is planned to start on Monday, 18th April 2022. Kishore Kumar, Ramesh Santosh Kumar, and Abinash Prasannaji, the 3 others traveling with Vishwa, suffered serious wounds but have been declared stable by the doctors attending to them.
The TTFI issued said, “A 12-wheel trailer, coming from the opposite direction, plowed through the road divider and hit the taxi at Shangbangla, just after the Umliy check post, and plunged into the gorge.” The taxi driver passed away on the spot, while Vishwa was declared brought dead by the North Eastern Indira Gandhi Regional Insititute of Health and Medical Sciences.

The late Tennis player, Vishwa, and his 3 teammates were instantly rushed to the hospital by the organizers with the aid of the Meghalaya government. Vishwa was a promising player with many national ranking titles and international medals to his credit, was to represent India at the WTT Youth Contender at Linz, Austria from the 27th of April 2022. Vishwa, a product of Krishnaswamy TT Club in Anna Nagar, was trained by Jai Prabhu Ram and Ramnath Prasad had come in for praise from none other than Sharath Kamal. The ace paddler rated him as an extremely talented boy with a lot of promise.
Conrad Sangma, Meghalaya Chief Minister mourned his demise. He wrote a tweet which reads that “Saddened to got the know that Tamil Nadu paddler, Deenadayalan Vishwa died after a road accident in Ri Bhoi District while on his way to Shillong to participate in the 83rd Senior National Table Tennis Championship in our state.” CM also condoled the demise of the taxi driver in the accident.
Dushyant Chautala, Haryana Deputy Chief Minister condoled his demise and declared Rs 5 lakh as compensation for his family.
