She is continuously gaining global popularity on IG. South Korean girl group, BLACKPINK has always managed to gather the attention of the fans towards them. Jisoo, who is the lead vocalist along with the visual of the group.

She has opened her account in the month of June 2018 and surpassed 57.1 million followers on Wednesday. She has become the second most-followed Korean female celebrity after following BLACKPINK member Jennie, who is presently at 63.2 million followers. Though Lisa has also remained the most-followed BLACKPINK member having 74 million followers.

Jisoo first launched her Instagram in the year 2018 along with her other members of the group. She enchanted everyone with her debut drama, Snowdrop. In the spite of many controversies surrounding it, the retro-drama originally launched on the Korean channel JTBC and Disney+ on 18th of the December 2021 but in particular regions.

After increasing high popularity among admirers, the show is now worldwide available from the 9th of February on Disney+Hotstar. The series has 16 episodes, which are released on weekly basis. The show Snowdrop aims at the forbidden love between a young couple, Eun Yeong-ro (role played by Kim Ji-soo), and Lim Soo-ho (role played by Jung Hae-in), trapped in a time of political turmoil in the year 1987.

The Early Career Of Jisoo

Kim Ji, soo who is also called “Chichu/Chichyu” famously among her admirers, is a South Korean singer and actress. Formerly a trainee under YG Entertainment, she comes up in several music videos, including Epik high’s “SPOILER + HAPPY ENDING” (released in the year 2014), Hi Suhyun’s “I’m Different” (2014) and she also did a cameo appearance in KBS2 drama “The Producer”.
