Different from Chandru, Kannabiran does not fight solely in courts. He stumbles upon a network of men headed by the wealthy, influential politician Inba (role played by Vinay) who dupe ladies into the relationships and later molests them with private videos taken sans their consent or knowledge. After 2 hit OTT releases, it is clear that this movie is particularly for the non-urban onlookers. This means that the narrative will follow the commercial template. Delicacy is not one of the stronger traits of Pandiraj. It is amusing how Kannabiran has time to jump to duet numbers in the spite of the “ticking clock”. But to its credit, the film ET keeps the ruffle to the minimum. The movie is predominantly pacy- the fast cuts of the movie remind you of a Hari film and it devoted more energy to breaking numerous stereotypes and biases. Even the humor and romance sequences are structured to be socially more responsible. At the end of the amusing sequence, Kannabiran tied the wedding knot to Aadhini (role played by Priyanka Mohan), after fooling her father.
