Pittsburgh Shooting Video Goes Viral Reddit and Other Social Media Platforms: A distressing video shows hundreds of revellers fleeing the site of an Airbnb early Sunday morning as gunfire was fired.

The footage, posted online by KDKA editor Ed Thompson, shows the teenage partygoers arguing before one man yells, “He’s got a gun, he’s got a pistol, get the f*** down!” As the unknown gunman began shooting, he could be heard advising others to flee the situation as he, too, hurries down the stairs of a flat at the intersection of Suismon Street and Madison Avenue in Pittsburgh’s North Side at around 12:30 a.m., stumbling over others.

“They’re shooting, oh my God,” says the videographer. According to cops, there were more than 200 people inside the Airbnb at the time, including several minors, when multiple attackers opened fire, killing two teenage boys and injuring eight others. They are currently in critical condition. According to investigators, up to 50 rounds were fired inside the flat, leading several participants to jump out the windows. According to WTAE, at least two of those partygoers suffered fractured bones and injuries as a result of the jump.

However, investigators indicated during a press conference on Sunday afternoon that they now believe there were a total of 90 rounds fired in what Police Chief Scott Schubert described as a “very chaotic situation.” Officers from Pittsburgh Zone 1 told WTAE that they were called to the scene early on Easter Sunday after receiving many ShotSpotter alarms. By the time police arrived at the scene in the 800 block of Suismon Street in the city’s Deutschtown area, more rounds had been fired.

According to Pittsburgh police, an investigation into the incident is ongoing, with evidence being gathered from as many as eight separate crime sites covering a few blocks around where the shooting occurred. WTAE reporter Ashley Zilka’s photos show automobiles with damaged windows and a seemingly misplaced sneaker outside the flat. A smashed 2nd party window hug open across the street, according to a media news outlet, and a Subaru Legacy was covered with blood less than a block away.

At the scene, shell shells from pistols and rifles were also uncovered. According to authorities, numerous gunshot victims were brought to nearby hospitals by EMS teams, while others found private transportation. Two of the patients died as a result of their injuries while at the hospital, although Commander John Fisher reported that the majority of the patients are in stable condition. Schubert reported that one of those who died was only 14 years old. It is unclear who rented the Airbnb, but Allegheny County real estate records show that the home is owned by 900 North Group LLC, according to a media outlet.
