Bob Saget, also known as Robert Lane Saget was an American actor, television host, and stand-up comedian. He was born on 17 May 1956 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, US. He was best known for several prominent roles in hit series and films. He was also known for his adult-oriented stand-up comedy. In 1982, Saget married Sherri Kramer. The former couple had three daughters. The couple divorced in 1997. Later, he was married to Kelly Rizzo, host of Eat Travel Rock TV.

On 09 January 2022, he was found dead in a hotel room. He was staying at the Ritz-Carlton Orlando, Grande Lakes, south of Orlando, Florida near Williamsburg. As per the sources, he was on a stand-up tour and performed in Ponte Vedra Beach the previous evening. He was found unconscious in his room by hotel staff at around 4 pm EST. He missed his scheduled checkout time, meanwhile, the family members got concerned as they were unable to contact him. Emergency services pronounced him dead at the scene.

Bob Saget was 65 years old at the time of his death. The cause of his death was not announced immediately. An autopsy report was released on the same day of his death in which it was found that the comedian had blunt head trauma from an accidental blow to the back of his head, like from a fall, and died from the resulting injuries in his sleep.

His funeral took place on 14 January 2022 and was buried at Mount Sinai Memorial Park Cemetery near the graves of his parents and sister. He appeared in several films including Spaced Out, Half Baked, Dirty Work, Madagascar, Benjamin, I Am Chris Farley, New York Minute, among others. He also did several stand-up shows.
