The Japanese politician was taken to a hospital after accepting what he believed was a bullet during a speech in the city of Nara (western Japan) on Friday, according to the aforementioned media.
Former Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe was shot in the chest while making a speech on the streets of the country’s west, Japan’s NHK news agency reported.
