The system where the investigative documents are stored is auditable and surveys are being carried out to identify all accesses to the inquiry into the death of Marília Mendonça.
In reaction to the news, the singer’s mother, Ruth Dias, asked for respect. “Have respect and empathy and understand that there is a family that suffers whenever situations like this occur”, she asked.
The family’s lawyer, Robson Cunha, said he was outraged by the material released and said that it is “inconceivable that exclusive documents from a police investigation that runs in secrecy and with access restrictions have been released in an irresponsible, inhumane and criminal way”. “This is a very serious fact and both the State and the agents who disseminated the image must be held accountable. I also inform you that those who disseminate and continue to share this type of content are also incurring a crime and may be held liable in court”, he added.
Plane crash kills singer
Marília Mendonça, aged 26, died in November 2021 after the plane crash on which she was traveling. The artist’s death was initially confirmed by firefighters and later by the singer’s advisory, which in a first statement had informed that the young woman had been rescued alive from the small aircraft. In addition to Marília Mendonça, the other four passengers on the aircraft died in the accident: producer Henrique Ribeiro, uncle and advisor Abicieli Silveira Dias Filho, the pilot and co-pilot of the plane.
The plane, a twin-engined Beechcraft “King Air”, crashed into a cataract two kilometers from the runway at the Caratinga airfield, according to information from the Minas Gerais Military Police. Pilots who flew over the region of Piedade de Caratinga, in the Vale do Rio Doce, when the plane crashed, report that the aircraft “torn” the wires of a high voltage pole in the vicinity. According to Cemig, 35,000 people were left without electricity following the accident.
The young artist was one of the most successful names in the sertanejo style today. Dubbed the “queen of suffering”, due to the emotional lyrics of her songs, Marília continued to be a rage during the covid-19 pandemic, breaking records on social networks in the live broadcasts she made, reaching more than 3.5 million of simultaneous hits on your YouTube channel in your first live.
